Beach Badge Sale Daily Limit Manasquan New Jersey beaches
Beginning Friday, July 17, 2020, the Manasquan Beach Department will employ enhanced measures to
control potential beach overcrowding. The sale of beach badges (inclusive of all varieties, i.e. daily,
weekly, seasonal) will be limited to 1,000 per day on Saturdays and Sundays. Further, if warranted in
the judgment of beach management, certain beaches that have reached capacity will be closed to
further access and patrons will be directed to less crowded beaches.
Electronic “variable message board” signs which have been positioned on Stockton Lake Boulevard,
North Main Street (at the entrance to the public parking lot just south of Atlantic Ave.) and Brielle Road
will be programmed to alert beachgoers arriving in town that badge sales have been halted (and that
the beach parking lots are at capacity when that status has been reached).

Belmar Office of Emergency Management
Belmar Beach Operations
July 17, 2020
After a thorough review by the Belmar Office of Emergency
Management, the Borough is limiting the number of daily beach badge
sales to 7500 badges.
This number will fluctuate to a lower number based on the amount of
season beach badge holders on the beach as well as the tides on any
given day.
We will also continue to adhere to our COVID-19 Beach Social
Distancing Plan.
Please remember that ball playing on all beaches is strictly prohibited.
We also ask that all our beachgoers utilize the trash containers on the
beach and boardwalk.
Please remember for your safety our beach showers are touchless as they
are activated by motion and there is no need to touch the shower or
controls.
In compliance with the Governor’s Executive Order, face masks are
required outdoors when social distancing is not possible.
