Our Friday whale watching trip was another great trip. This was the first of three trips for the July 4th weekend. Get tickets Now for Jersey Shore whale watch trips

We had less than 30 people on the trip, our boat is huge, with two levels and and separate men’s and ladies full size bathrooms. Plenty of room for social distancing . We left BELMAR marina at 1:30pm and headed north past Avon , Bradley beach, Ocean Grove, Asbury Park and long Branch beach crowds it was a very nice ride the ocean was very calm.

Danielle our wonderful naturalist spotted a whale two miles ahead of us trashing its tail in the ocean. We moved the boat to a safe close distance from the whale and were able to observe many lunge feeds and we all got great photos and video from the day.

We then spotted a 2nd whale about a mile off shore and we went to observe this fast moving whale that really kept us guessing where the Humpback would appear next. The first humpback whale was easier to predict surfacing as the Menhaden fish that they would to eat bubble to the surface before the humpback lunge feeds through the School of menhaden.

Our way back home we cruise close along the Jersey shore coastline and saw all the beautiful homes in Monmouth Beach, Long Branch Deal, Allenhurst, and Asbury Park. The beach in BELMAR was the most crowded beach and the beaches in Deal were the least crowded.

A great day to be in the cool ocean breeze and out observing these beautiful massive whales. Join us soon any questions call Jersey Shore Whale Watch. 732.451.6003 https://jerseyshorewhalewatchingtour.com
